Which devices are supported?

EchoBox supports any Wear OS watch equipped with a microphone and a built-in speaker running Wear OS 3.0 or higher.

How does it work?

Simply open the app, pick a voice modulation effect from the menu, tap the start button, and say a phrase. EchoBox will record for a few seconds, process the audio locally on your watch, and play it back mimicking the chosen profile.

Why isn't it recording my voice?

EchoBox requires access to your smartwatch's microphone to hear you. Make sure you have granted the app permission to record audio when prompted, otherwise it won't work as expected.

I don't hear any sounds, what's wrong?

Make sure your watch's media volume is turned up! The app relies heavily on the internal speaker. Turn up the volume using the watch's quick settings or physical dial.

Does EchoBox process audio in the cloud?

No, absolutely not! All DSP filtering, echo delay loops, and pitch-shifting occurs locally on the watch CPU. We value your privacy and no audio data ever leaves your device.

Is the premium unlock permanent and does it include future sounds?

Yes! A single one-time purchase permanently unlocks all current premium profiles, the Custom Modulator, and any future voice effects we release via updates. There are no subscriptions.
