Privacy Policy for EchoBox
Last Updated: March 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the EchoBox application for WearOS.
1. Microphone and Audio Recording (RECORD_AUDIO)
EchoBox requires access to your device's microphone (android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO) to function.
The core purpose of this app is to record your voice, apply digital sound processing (DSP) filters, and play it back to you with fun modulations.
2. Data Handling and Storage
We do not collect, transmit, or store your voice recordings on any external servers.
- All audio processing happens 100% locally on your WearOS smartwatch device.
- The audio is temporarily saved to your device's local cache strictly for playback purposes and is immediately overwritten when you record a new audio clip.
- No data leaves your device. We do absolutely not have access to your recordings.
3. Analytical and Identifying Data
EchoBox does not track you, collect analytics, or share any personal identifying information with any third parties.
4. Children's Privacy
Since we do not collect any personal data, our app is safe for children. However, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
6. Contact Us
If you have any questions or suggestions about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us at the developer email listed on our Google Play Store page.
